Accommodation Requirements

When it is necessary for the AJA Associate to stay overnight, the accommodation provided should meet the following criteria:

  • All venues must have flat access
  • The hotel room should ideally be on the ground floor
  • If lift access is required the lift should be fire proof and be of adequate size.
If not, then other evacuation procedures must be in force e.g. evacuation chair
  • An accessible ("disabled") room for the trainer and a 2nd, standard adjoining/inter-connecting room for their P.A.
  • Room must have a walk-in shower, or a bath with suitable grip rails

We like Premier Travel Inns as they do meet the criteria.
