Venue Requirements
Access Requirements
- All venues must have flat access
- If the room is not on the ground floor, is the lift
fire-proof?
(If not, then other evacuation procedures must be in force
e.g. evacuation chair)
- Is the fire-proof lift a reasonable size?
- Is the accessible toilet nearby?
- Is the accessible entrance clearly marked from the car park
(If not, please tell us how to get there.)
- Any security measures at the car park e.g. intercom, swipe
card?
- Any security measures at the building e.g. intercom, pin
number?
General
- Is the training room large enough to play games, split
participants into groups and have tables around the outside for
resources?
- Is there ample space for T.V., video, flip chart, O.H.P.
and screen?
- Refreshments must be provided
- Have clear & specific directions been sent to Alison John & Associates?
